Have a look at my photography, like it, love it, share it at unsplash/noelleaugustus
Unless we are talking about the good old traditional Mario kart, lets leave the pixelated images in 1992. The world is a better place without unintentional pixelated images. Lets face it, if creative’s don’t gift the world with unique images, we will forever be stuck in the endless loop of stock imagery. While Instagram is an amazing tool for personal images, it is also limiting in the quality of the images once its uploaded.
That's not to say that you can never use stock photos. There is definitely a time and a place for them. And especially when they're cleverly and intentionally selected, they can accomplish the goal of adding life to the words on a page.
It’s clear to all of us that the world is moving towards one direction, a very photographic orientated world. Technological developments that come up frequently will continue to surprise us in the coming years. For instance Instagram has helped the field of photography reach tens of millions of new people.
I do not think Instagram will replace professional photographers, nor do I think that's even what its purpose is or ever will be. It's a great medium for sharing quick shots with a circle of friends. The skills of a good photographer will generally transcend any, as they go beyond the crippling constraints of the kit. To have a successful company, I cannot stress enough the importance if getting professional creative
If your a business owner, especially a startup, make sure to hire a professional creative, as there is nothing more creditable than having high quality content. First impressions matter, so it’s important to make sure your content succinctly and quickly shows key information to grab the audience’s attention in a matter of seconds.
For instance, professionals who specialize in photography not only have the proper equipment and lighting, but they'll also have the experience with using those things properly, posing people to compliment their appearance, and editing everything look incredible. What's more, they'll have the knowledge, experience, and artistry to truly capture a business' personality and essence.
To contribute to the growing creative’s, I have used Unsplash is a platform to share some of my own high-resolution images. As a creative in the digital world, it is hard to get recognition for your skills, and what’s worse; it’s very easy to just take somebodies work and neglect the rights of the creator. However, in treating these platforms as a mini-portfolio and I think it should represent my diversity and craftsmanship as a graphic designer. f I want to connect with, and contribute to, the creative community than I want them to see my potential, because am not selling my work, I am selling my specialized skills.
